Patel-Highlands Dental was developed as a purpose-built dental practice from the ground up. Dental office design demands careful attention to operatory layout, sterilization workflow, x-ray shielding, and mechanical systems — all of which must be resolved within a building envelope that presents well to patients and functions efficiently for staff.

The exterior shows a clean, professional image appropriate to a healthcare context. Interior planning was developed in close coordination with the dentist's clinical workflow requirements, resulting in a facility that is organized for efficiency from the moment a patient enters to the moment they leave.
